BODOG is using SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, that utilizes more of their Linux servers' capacities by consolidating all physical servers and applications through virtualization—which results in the lowering of hardware, maintenance and electrical costs.

BODOG uses WebLogic and Versant on Solaris, however that collaboration has come to an end. Bodog now has switched to Red Hat Linux Enterprise, Apache server platform software.


4. What types of application software is used (sold)? What brands?

Jboss is the system application software controlling the enterprise server, as well as IBM's DB2 relational database product. BODOG has 14 Web servers and a 30-CPU application server cluster.

The type of computers BODOG uses SUSE Linux Enterprise Servers.

The CTO for BODOG is in charge of hw/sw.

BODOG is using Red Hat Linux Enterprise, Apache and JBOSS and IBM’s DB2 relational database software.
